Maybe he was [or wasn’t] but we just throw the toxicology report out and what medical science has to say about the effects of opiates and methamphetamines on the body?

How do you exclude those factors, btw?

Prosecution refuted this claim with expert witnesses.

That Floyd wasn't on several illegal drugs? That those drugs were in his system at significant levels? That those drugs were potentially dangerous to his health? That the levels found in his system were well above that necessary to cause potentially dangerous health issues and reactions?

    What did they refute?

He was alive and well until Chauvin strangled him. Tons of proof were given. The jury agreed. The judge agreed. Tucker did not. You blind ass rightys did not. The jury settled all 3 counts in a very short time. They heard every second of the testimony
Your logic is akin to sucker-punching a 90-year-old who dies. Then claim the punch did not do anything, He died because he was old. He was living until your actions. That defense does not fly.

Alive? Yes. Well? Not particularly. It's obvious Floyd's having some serious issues right from the start. Chauvin didn't "strangle" him either. That's utter bullshit there. The jury found Chauvin guilty on three counts that duplicate what happened. Why? How do you commit all three simultaneously? If he committed 2nd degree murder then it wasn't manslaughter or 3rd degree murder. Guilty on all three says the jury stacked charges. That's going to be an additional issue come the appeal, you can bet on it.

b8denpresident is clueless Floyd had a mixture of drugs in his system and was a life long criminal , both his drug abuse and criminal behavior helped create events that caused his own death.
The cop was neglect no doubt in my mind and so was floyd

Death is a POSSIBLE outcome of drugs in your system. Cutting off, and/or, impeding the flow of oxygen to the brain makes death a DEFINITE outcome. To suggest that you knew the exact moment of his death, because he had drugs in his system is ridiculous and why the jury gave it about 3 minutes of thought, obviously.
AMERICAN HISTORY ITSELF IS A TESTAMENT TO THE STRENGTH AND RESILIENCE OF AFRICAN PEOPLE. WE, ALONG WITH THE COURGE AND SACRIFICES OF CONSCIOUS WHITE AMERICANS, LIKE VIOLA LIUZZO, EVERETT DIRKSEN, AND MANY OTHERS, HAVE FOUGHT AND DIED TOGETHER FOR OUR FREEDOM, AND FOR OUR SURVIVAL.

In America, rights are are not determined by what is just, fair, equitable, honest, nor by what Jesus would do. Rights are determined ONLY by what you can DEMAND.

That is was the cause of death. Chauvin caused Floyd's death.

I see it differently. Chauvin might--might--have contributed to Floyd's death, but Floyd's use of illegal drugs in lethal amounts and his underlying health issues were the primary cause. Call it 10 to 20% Chauvin, 80 to 90% Floyd.

In any case, if Floyd hadn't committed yet another crime of passing counterfeit money, in his long history of committing crimes, the whole argument is moot.
