FTR I don't think Waters or Biden should have commented before the verdict was in. I also don't think the jury was influenced by those comments despite Chauvin fans claiming they didn't follow the judge's instructions not to listen to the news. And I think it's just another RWNJ conspiracy theory that the jury voted as they did because of fear.
Here is what he said. "I’m praying the verdict is the right verdict, which is -- I think it’s overwhelming, in my view," and this was when he was talking to Floyd's family. Do you think he would tell Floyd's family that he think's it's overwhelming that Chauvin was not guilty? He did not use the word guilty but pretty hard to read that and think he meant anything else.

I agree that's what Biden meant and I'm just criticizing the dog guy's lie. And the jury didn't hear Biden's comment.

So everyone on FoxNews who prayed for a not guilty verdict is guilty of unduly influencing the jury?

Remember Biden said that AFTER the jury was sequestered, and not before like the FoxNews "personalities" did.

That is what is called reading words into a quote.

It is an attempt to hold someone responsible for words he did not say.

    Hello cawacko,

I'm going to zero in on the one thing that refutes the FOX claim. You have stated it yourself:

    Thank you.

Like, how does one influence a sequestered jury?

    They are sequestered.

    Nobody can talk to them.

That is called going to the heart of the matter.

Biden did not say he was praying for a guilty verdict.

That's why there is no quote of him saying those words.

Also, President Biden's comments came after the jury was sequestered, so there was no way for them to even hear his comments.

it was a poor choice of words he should have said he prayed justice will be served.
