A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.
A milestone for some and a millstone for others.
We have divided cultures in this country.
Not much sign of that changing.
Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Samuel Johnson, 1775
Religion....is the opiate of the people. Karl Marx, 1848
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose. Kris Kristofferson, 1969
Of course. They were not intimidated. They could have escaped easily during jury selection if they were afraid. It's just complete nonsense. And they have presented no alternative. Because they don't have one. They are whiners. Nothing more, nothing less. Devoid of ideas or proposals. Darth fits right in.
I'm guessing that many lynching victims didn't 'resist arrest'. They still wound up dead. I wonder if that has anything to do with black peoples fear and distrust of the police.

African-Americans are arrested for drug abuse at a much higher rate than white Americans, although surveys show drugs are used at similar levels.
In 2018, around 750 out of every 100,000 African-Americans were arrested for drug abuse, compared to around 350 out of every 100,000 white Americans.
Previous national surveys on drug use show that white people use drugs at similar rates, but African-Americans continue to get arrested more often.
