Hey, 60 Minutes, maybe you can try telling a real story instead of making one up to serve the DEMOCRAT narrative.
I know a good one.
Who killed Ashli Babbitt, Mike Wallace wannabes?
Haven't you heard? According to an April 1st, 2016 article in the Washington Post, "1 in 5 officers involved in fatal shootings names go undisclosed."
Except that the name of the first officer mentioned by the Washington Post on April 1st, 2016 is known.
Christopher Raimey.
The cops were terrified. Their job was to protect the nation's capitol and Babbit was leading a group crashing through the doors. She was unlucky. It could have been any of the seditionists. 140 cops were injured by the rioters. They had a right to be scared. They could have shot them all. They were trying to stop the functioning of Congress. The stupid part was counting the electoral ballots is a formality. The votes were already certified.
You're still trying to equate local law enforcement with a police force whose job it is to protect those who hold the highest level national security secrets in their possession.
It's just a case of two different levels of concern.
I know what supposed point you're trying to get at.... that the Capitol cop who shot your Trumptard anti-Biden hero has their identity protected while some cop who kills a street thug had his name dragged through the press.
Like I said.... proportionality.
Also, if the investigation had determined that the Capitol cop killed her did so in an unjustified or illegal manner, then his/her name would be public knowledge by now.

It *appeared* to be unjust just like Chauvin *appeared* to kill Floyd with his knee. When things appear to be amiss the public deserves a better explanation than ‘the Officer was cleared’.
Those congressmen work for the people and not the other way around. And the better lot of them are hypocrites that would defund cops in poor urban areas even as they hide behind a barricade guarded by the military.
As protection from rioters. Let that sink in.

My thoughts exactly.
That was a risky shot under the circumstances. Had Babbit been *an immediate* threat to someone you might take a shot like that—but she was climbing through a fricking window. I’ll guarantee the cops standing next to her had something to say about it.
But no mention of a reprimand ‘in the report’.
