Au contre ... if a juror hangs the jury it will mean that the FACTUAL EVIDENCE DID make a difference

Nonsense, Grump. You just don't have a problem with runt white cops like Chauvin murdering big black men.
It's quite obvious, so just admit it, at least to yourself.

You ASSUME that I think floyd was murdered. Looks to me like SBC. Did you forget the thug in the store handing off a package and then refusing to testify ... claiming the 5th?

Nope ... nothing for me to admit

My inclination, however, is to believe that you identify with the cowardly little cop Chauvin.

Yep ... it is a defendents right to not testify ... You may not have ever heard of it but there is a legal concept called "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY" ... and that is the job of the prosecution. Anyhoo ... what good would have come from having Derek on the stand? If that trial wasn't enough of a stand-up comedy routine already.

It is ANYONE'S right not to testify. DUH. I guess in Chauvin's case, pleading the fifth is different than when a 'thug' does the same thing. LOL, your racist is showing little fella.

I do admin work now but I’ve been doing this work for 32 years. 28 of those were professionally licensed/certified. In my current role I work as an individual contributor. I have no management or supervisory responsibilities. I had far more management and supervisory responsibilities when I was in the field and when my reports were doing dangerous frontline work I was in the thick of it making sure no one got hurt.

In that time I have witnessed with my own eyes around 15 major incident. Four of which resulted in fatalities. I’ve also known five colleagues who have been killed. Though I didn’t witness those. One died from asphyxiation, another had his head blown off when some sodium azide detonated in a drum he was inspecting. Two who I had worked with incinerated when an idiot customer threw some organic peroxide’s into a drum of solvent under the theory “no one would notice”. Shock sensitive peroxide’s eventually formed and when these guys were handling the drum the peroxide’s detonated and the drum of solvent flashed incinerating both men, though it took one of the men six weeks of hell in a burn ward before he died.

Another one got splashed with a couple of ounces of HF Acid that eventually penetrated his PPE. It took about 5 days for the HF to kill him. That was one of the coldest things I’ve heard of. When he realized he’d been contaminated, the deconned him, applied some calcium gel to the burn, rushed him to the hospital where the burn was debrided, sterilized and wrapped up.

Then the Doctors proceeded to calmly tell him he’d absorbed a fatal dose but it would take a number of days to kill him and all they could do was try to keep him as comfortable as possible till he died. They said the burn was initially the size of a fifty cent piece and that before he died it was about the size of a football, about 2-3 cm deep, with full thickness skin destruction.

My closest call was I was transporting a drum of phenol on a pallet with a forklift, tilted back, going a little faster than a man can walk when someone who wasn’t paying attention walked like 1 meter in front of the forklift. We both got lucky. He got lucky that i stopped in time to not run over him. He got even luckier that the 200 kg drum of phenol didn’t hit him when it flew of the pallet and we both got damned lucky the bungs held when the drum hit the asphalt. We’d probably both would of been splashed and don’t take much phenol to kill you.

So yes, not having to take those kinds of risk by flying a desk is a plus but hey I paid my dues.
