Default Big fat lies about Georgia's election integrity law

Lie 1: The Georgia election law discourages voting/suppresses votes.

The Truth: Jason Snead, executive director of the Honest Elections Project, said, “Overall, the Georgia law is pretty much in the mainstream and is not regressive or restrictive. The availability of absentee ballots and early voting is a lot more progressive than what’s in the blue states.” The Heritage Foundation recently validated this statement by comparing Georgia’s law to other states.

Despite bungler Biden’s and other’s false claims that the time period for voting would be restricted, it is not the case that voting must finish at 5 p.m. Counties can set hours anywhere between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (see line 1446-1447 of the law).

Big fat lie 2: The Georgia law suppresses the black vote.

The Truth: The law makes no distinctions based on race. False comparisons to DEMOCRAT Jim Crow laws—which included segregation, poll taxes, grandfather clauses, and literacy tests—are historically ignorant and diminish the outrages committed by racist DEMOCRATS.

Leftists lie that the law ends early voting on Sundays. In factn the bill allows for early voting on Sundays (see line 83 of the law).

Big fat lie 3: The Georgia election law contains onerous voter ID requirements.

The Truth: The Georgia law’s voter ID language is not onerous, and makes exceptions for people without ID to provide their Social Security number (line 1244 of the law).

    https://www.legis.ga.gov/api/legisla...0212022/201121

Furthermore, ID requirements do not suppress voters, as studies have shown. Patronizing claims that minorities are too stupid to have identification are insulting and have no factual basis.

Big fat lie 4: The bill denies water to voters \waiting in line.

The Truth: Voters are allowed to bring water with them. The law allows voters to drink water from a fountain (see line 1828 of the law).

    https://www.legis.ga.gov/api/legisla...0212022/201121

The law protects voters from political solicitation within 150 feet of a voting site (see line 1818 of the law).

tRump and other seditious and treasonous GOPers and including Ms. Lindsey should be prosecuted for waging war against the Constitutionally compliant Georgia electoral process, and the GOP should be condemned at coming up with un Constitutional laws to obstruct the right of voters. I also hope Stacy Adams will become Georgia's unobstructed governor who was un Constitutionally denied as a result of GOPer treason at destroying the legitimacy of that gubernatorial election as a result of violating the will of the majority voter and regardless of who they were.

“copy and paste’s” post are so obvious, was it really necessary to include the overblown often derogatory pictures with any of those narratives

In fact your source in all of them is the actual law, from which then you offered your own interpretation, or that of someone you didn’t want to cite, and last I knew pictures weren’t included in Legislative proposals

You forgot the most important part, all of those provisions now are subject to oversight by local election officials, not a State wide elected position as was the case prior to these changes, but officials appointed by State Legislators, meaning political partisans. Pretty obvious they don’t want another Raffensperger messing up their plans with honesty. The local Billy Bob Joe wouldn’t hesitate for a moment coming up with those requested twelve thousand votes

And lastly, simple question, why does Georgia now suddenly need election “reform” after they just conducted an election that was examined from all different angles and even declared by State Election officials and the Governor to be their best in history?
