The Bruces’ decision to sell has stirred fresh debate about the goals and methods of reparations, just as those efforts have been gaining traction at universities and local governments.

Yes, and those of us who have been trying to help people understand this dont seem to be getting very far. The only chance of saving America from this Regressive Left Revolution is if the last of the liberals band together with the Conservatives and anyone else who can be found to put down this illiberal revolution as a massive force of rebellion. And it would have to be massive, the Revolution has taken all of the power centers.....this is all but over already.

IMO there is only one way this country can be saved from itself. It needs to utterly crash into absolute despair and ruin. Only then will people WAKE UP and see what they once had but CHOSE to slowly destroy over time. Sometimes a walk through utter darkness is what is needed to get back to the light. Right now all we are doing is strapping this thing together with cheap duck tape and crazy glue,.....that is NOT how you fix a problem. Like a house that has been allowed by its piss poor owners to slowing degenerate into a mold infested shack our house needs to be allowed to collapse and bulldozed in so it can be rebuilt again to what it once was.

bought up beach front on an amazing beachfront in California

They then proceeded to create businesses to serve the people who came to Bruce beach


They became quite wealthy for a black family of the time


Until the racist community stole the land from them


Their plan of passing down this property and wealth down to their children and grand children was stolen from them

Their home on the beachfront was stolen from them


The current community decided they didn’t want this evil action to define their beautiful city


They recently deeded the land back to the family mr Bruce had planned to leave it to


His brilliant property purchase and business idea wasn’t completely thwarted by evil racists


His family is now very wealthy


I do wish the Bruce’s were able to enjoy this land like decency and fairness would demand


But at least some people wanted to be decent

As pessimistic as I have been I have not been pessimistic enough, "as bad as you think it is it is actually worse" applies here. This caused my one big mistake, I and my wife were very free range parents, we gave our kids as much freedom as they could handle as early as we could, which is how we were raised. I did not want to manage their childhood unless it was required for their safety, I did not want to mold them, I wanted them to experience and learn and sometimes fall down then learn how not to fall down. For instance we refused to do most of the school things parents were expected to do then (schools claimed that it was for the benefit of the kids education but now I think that the whole idea was to keep an eye on the parents). I rarely tried to guide them on what they should think, I wanted them to flower into themselves (a very Zen thing).

Had I known that they were being so indoctrinated into a illiberal neo-marxist cult I would have not done that.

Economically we are toast...we needed to launch reforms by the late 80's.....70's would have been better. A very hard crash was certain when even the Great Recession failed to wake us up.

Sure there are exceptions,...but as a general rule many are softer than a babys ass. I believe this to be absolutely TRUE because I have seen it many times first hand. There are many "men", and I use that term liberally, that would stand there and cower as their own family members are being attacked where as a lot of guys in my age group would beat the attacker half to death with their own bare hands. I know I sure would. The youngers have so much less testosterone in them then our age group that its frightening. Truthfully,....a lot of them are quite feminine. Wimps, total wimps. There is an old saying that is very true that I not only believe to be true but have tried to live by on BOTH ends that goes like this......." Never mess with another mans money, or his woman, or his ego,....or the man WILL MESS WITH YOU" Not so anymore,.......now you can do anything you want to to the youngers and they are more than likely to curl up in a ball and cry.

I was recently watching The Little Foxes from 1941 where a schemer looking out for #1 gives a talk to others to the effect "Go for it, the good guys wont fight, you can get away with it!". I have long watched movies as a dig into where America and the West went bad so I paid attention. What you talk about goes back at least that far. Already by 1941 WW1 and the Great Depression had beaten the fight out of a lot of men. We regrouped to get WW2 won, and then that generation collapsed morally. Because "The greatest generation" won WW2 almost no one ever sees it but the Boomers were not the start of the problem, their parents were.

You must not have read my post. I talked about a family member being attacked. So you would prefer a man that would just cower and walk away out of fear as you were being attacked? Highly doubtful.
