We each make our own reputations on forums. Have confidence in your own and trust others can tell who is an asshole and who isn't. Sure, a little help identifying good from bad is fine. Trusting other members to see who is good and who isn't is more important.

Lies usually backfire on people over the long term since they cause people to distrust the liar.

Beauty and sex appeal is based on body and mind. There are intelligent slim, and toned women in their 50s and 60s who keep themselves physically fit. And there are unhealthy and overweight stupid women in their 20s. While youth has it's advantages, it largely comes down to how one takes care of their body, and how one carries themselves.
