Default CNN hemorrhaging viewers; Ratings down 54 %

Adding to weeks of reports of dwindling ratings, CNN has been “hemorrhaging viewers” since bungler Biden stole office on Installation Day.

CNN’s ratings are “down more than 50 percent in multiple categories” since January 20.

The leftist propaganda network spent years attacking Republicans. CNN has averaged just one million viewers since Biden stole office, a staggering decline of 54 percent.

This drop in on-screen fortunes began when the real president left office. CNN has lost about a million viewers on average since Biden stole office, with CNN drawing nearly 50% fewer viewers in the key 24-54 age group.

In early January when, after dominating cable news ratings for two decades, Fox News received lower TV ratings than both CNN and MSNBC at the same time for the first time since 2000 in the week of the US Capitol protest.

From Selection Day through Installation Day, when DEMOCRAT dementia patient Joe Biden stole the highest office in the land by election chicanery backed with armed force, CNN was the most-watched cable news network in both total viewers (1.8 million),” reported USA Today. Mediaite reported that “MSNBC was the most-watched network in all of cable” on Friday January 22, with CNN dropping to third overall in prime time.

However, it seems that the sudden ascendancy of CNN appears to be short-lived. Not only has their overall viewership declined by 54 percent, the plummeting numbers are even worse among key demographics.

CNN’s struggles are even more prominent among the key advertising demographic of adults age 25-54, with a drop of 60 percent. It averaged 617,000 demo viewers from Dec. 28 through Installation Day but only 244,000 since Biden entered the White Louse under armed guard.

On the failing New York Times podcast, “Sway,” host Kara Swisher asked Don Lemon — one CNN anchor impacted by the dwindling viewership — whether he was concerned. “No. I’m not worried about it," Lemon responded.

Lisping Brian Stelter, host of CNN’s hilariously named “Reliable Sources” has also been struggling to retain his audience. According to Nielsen Media Research, the most recent episode of CNN’s "Reliable Sources" saw its lowest rating of the year for the second weekend in a row.

Stelter’s show failed to reach over a million viewers for the second time in as many weeks, while also boasting its second-lowest viewership of the year for its key demographic of 25 to 54 year-olds.

    CNN is Atlanta.
Georgia is in the midst of a problem right now. CNN could be getting All Star Game type heat.

MSNBC and FOX are both New York, but MSNBC has New York values while Fox is regarded as a stain on the city pavement.

Bottom line: MSNBC is the relevant cable news channel.

where is your source, racist chickenshit? we know you did not write that...too many big words. stupid and slanted, but not nearly as stupid and retarded and racist as the shit you usually spew.

a lot of CNN's daytime programming is non-stop covering of the george floyd trial. who wants to watch 5 hours of that?

fox has not been all that great either, still crying about hunter's laptop and how they would rather die than give up their Mr. Potato Heads.

Cable News Networks Seize On Bragging Rights In First Quarter Ratings – But Overall Viewership Drops In March

News networks trumpeted their first-quarter ratings by keying in on their bright spots: CNN got the biggest bounce and topped the 25-54 demo, Fox News led in primetime in total viewers, and MSNBC ranked first in total-day viewers.

But drill down to the month of March, and a slower news cycle versus a year earlier appears to have had an impact on viewership.

All of the news networks were down significantly for the month, with Fox News off 34% in total viewers in primetime, CNN down 37% and MSNBC losing 19%. In total day, the falloff was even more significant, with Fox News off 40%, CNN dropping 32% and MSNBC falling 19%.

After an outrage-fueled uptick in viewership during the Trump era, the network is fighting a ratings slump and bracing for the exit of its longtime president, Jeff Zucker.

Don Lemon has been at the network for over a decade and built his brand with a prime-time slot that has been called therapy for Trump haters.

His approach is emblematic of an era in which the American media diet has shifted from a wholesome balanced meal (think Walter Cronkite) to a sugar-laden hash of angry prime-time programming.

For the week of March 15, CNN had just over 1.1 million average viewers during prime time and 269,000 in the key demo; for total day, the cable news network had 755,000 total viewers and 180,000 in the key demo. Compared to the same week last year, CNN dropped about 64% in the key demo during prime time and about 47% in total prime time viewers. For total day, the network dropped about 50% in total day viewers and 65% in the key demo compared to last year.

With an average of 997,000 viewers for the week of March 15, MSNBC also received its smallest total day audience of the year. MSNBC outperformed CNN in total day and prime time viewers but fell behind CNN in the key demo for both prime time and total day viewers.

Fox News emerged as the top cable news network for total day and prime time in both the key demo and total viewers for the week of March 15.

Reading your chosen article carefully, I'd say the bottom line on the numbers within it are that FOX edges out MSNBC and the two stomp all over CNN. Sure, FOX and MSNBC's hosts seem to vie for top spot (eg., Carlson v. Maddow) but FOX takes second, third, etc., as well with other hosts. That argues that FOX overall has an edge. In viewership FOX tends to edge out MSNBC most of the time, while CNN is consistently in third place.

So, it appears as I stated. FOX edges out MSNBC in a fairly close ratings battle, while CNN is a poor third in ratings.

So tell us there "copy," has Fox's ratings increased by "54%?"

Bottom line, Americans aren't tuned into cable network infotainment shows, understandable, Biden's low profile approach works, people don't feel a need nor have a curiosity to know what the President is doing every minute nor what he has to say about everything

I would say you are a dumbass. and i would be right. CNN owns the edge in the 25-54 age group, which advertisers crave, who pay more for that, and almost all fox viewers are old racist white boys who probably never finished high school, and certainly not college. and they get less for their ads, which is why the retarded goon Mr. Pillow has about 25 ads per hour on that old timey station.
