No, it really doesn’t say that.

Legislatures draft gun laws. Courts decide whether they pass constitutional muster.

    But you knew that.

DPS- That's who! THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY! EVERY STATE HAS ONE ALREADY.
There's a "minor" difference. People use cars everyday, but not guns.

Are you ignoring the word "infringed"?

Why do you keep talking about racist white men?

All rights have limitations. SCOTUS has ruled that, even if you don’t like it.

But, if you do any research on the origins of the 2nd, it was written in the context of military service. The original wording by Madison included a conscientious objector clause. The Senate removed that at some point.

The militia, as was intended in the “bear arms” part, is and has been defined as able bodied men 18-40(or 45). So, there goes your theory.

You really don’t believe a 3 year old has a right to bear arms, do you?

For real. Eventually we'll be having mass shootings where half the victims are found with a gun under their perforated body. Wait for it.

There is no difference with regards to PUBLIC SAFETY when talking about who we should let drive vehicles and who should be allowed to carry a gun in public.

We only want licensed drivers that have passed both written and driving tests to prove they are qualified to drive in public to be allowed to drive in public.

We only want people to drive legal registered vehicles that meet safety standards on our public roads, streets, and highways.

The same should apply to guns- STATE Licensing and registration!

That's fine. No American should be denied any of that!

Unfortunately way too many of them are. Some local guy from up here (UP of MI) killed himself and shot his two young children to death the other day. Just practicing his 2nd Amendment rights, I guess.
