Well, being a sane, mature adult who is imbued with an ample amount of common sense, let's just say that I find it lacking in any positive outcome potential.

Whose flag are they being falsely carried out or reportedly being carried out under?

    We've always had them.
We're not the same same dystopic nation without them.

A nation that wasn't totally fucked up wouldn't be the America we know.
    I wouldn't say we've always had them.

If I had to guess, that would be the first PTSD related mass shooting.

Still, Why did those mass shooting start at that point and became worse and worse? I do not recall any mass shootings prior to 1900's.

Who gets to determine who has the right to own a gun or not?

My guess is that as society changed and became more modernized and fast paced, and people began to feel more pressure to conform to some standard of success, and what became known as "the American Dream" began to become more prominent in people's minds, some of those who somehow felt that they'd been left out or cheated by life and left behind, snapped and decided to take their frustrations out on others who they perceived as having been to blame either wholly or partly, or in the cases of random shootings, just saw society as a whole as being to blame.

In the Charles Whitman shooting at the University of Texas in Austin in 1966, a brain tumor may have had something to do with his behavior including during the years leading up to the shooting during which he had sought professional help.

Hard to say what causes people to suddenly snap, but I would guess that it is usually some personality trait that has been with them since childhood ad just developed in a certain way due to both internal and external circumstances.

Seems like the more complex the world becomes, the harder it is for some people to cope.

If some of those people have certain attitudes towards violence as a means of solving problems, they are likely to be the ones who end up going on a shooting rampage.
