compared to the number of cases where they've expanded police and government power, I wouldn't say it's been 'regular'
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

The expansion of police and government power did not restrict any of our constitutional rights--they have expanded.

The average tenure is about 17 years anyway.

By and large, the current system has worked well. The Senate did abuse its power by not considering Garland and then hypocritically confirming Barrett. But, that’s the way the ball bounces.

Eventually, the court will swing in a different direction. It’s all about timing.

Better just to take impeachment of judges seriously. Compared to the other two branches of FedCo, judges are by far the easiest to impeach, yet Congress lacks balls. Term limits for Congress just might gain them some balls.

You think thirteen is the perfect number, just as well you're not superstitious.

It did not expand rights, it simply confirmed existing law that police could search without a warrant to prevent the destruction of evidence.

I did not say every case expanded our rights, but that the long-term trend had been to expand those rights.
