"court-packing" would mark a reversal of an opinion Biden expressed in 1983 while serving as a U.S. senator from Delaware. At the time, Biden spoke out against President Ronald Reagan’s bid to replace three members of the US Commission on Civil Rights.
During a Senate Judiciary Committee, Biden likened Reagan’s effort to that of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who launched an unsuccessful bid to add six justices to the Supreme Court in 1937.
"President Roosevelt clearly had the right to send to the United States Senate and the United States Congress a proposal to pack the court. It was totally within his right to do that. He violated no law. He was legalistically, absolutely correct," Biden said at the time. "But it was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible, terrible mistake to make. And it put in question, if for an entire decade, the independence of the most significant body … in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of America."

That was different.
Biden is a bonehead
You are kidding, correct?
Name a recognized politician and I’ll deliver a “he said ............. years ago,” and you had to go back over thirty years to find a Biden quote.
And by the way, just to straight the record straight, Biden hasn’t flatly come out and says he wants to appoint additional Judges, rather, that he would appoint a bipartisan committee to examine the issue, which he did via EO
FDR LOST THAT BID
They had stopped a couple of his programs
It harmed FDRs reputation
Note the clips of him saying it (Biden) are very tightly clipped
What was his full remarks
It gave fodder to his detractors
He clearly said it was perfectly legal to do huh
Your shuts packed the courts
Even lied and pretended Obama couldnt appoint a scotus member in his lat year
Then did the opposite for Donnie the orange
That was before Republicans refused to do their job. You owe us two. The other two we'll take because we think you suck.
Next?
The expanse could help undo the reputations damage your dying Republican Party did to the courthouse
