You are confusing two different situations. In one, the LEOs were charged with protecting the Capitol and were attacked. Shooting the bimbo was justified; the only puzzling thing is why they didn't shoot more of the terrorists. The fact that they were white #TRE45ON cultists no doubt had a role.

In the second situation, a traffic stop led to the victim trying to escape custody, and a mistake by the LEO with her taser. Tasing him, fine, that's (almost always) non-lethal. Shooting him? No. He was trying to get away, NOT assaulting them. I agree with the manslaughter charge against her; it was plainly an accident. You can even hear her shock on the video that she fucked up. We expect the ppl to whom we give firearms and arrest powers to use them correctly.

A complaint filed on March 4 said that Wright had had an encounter with the police on June 30 in Minneapolis.
It said officers responded to a call about a man with a gun and found Wright in a car with other people.
The complaint said Wright ran away from the officers, who chased but did not catch him. It said a loaded handgun was found in the car.
Another record showed that Wright was due to attend a court hearing via Zoom on April 2.
A warrant for Wright's arrest was then filed, suggesting he did not attend the hearing.
