So then tear up all the work you and Trump did to "revise NAFTA"?

Or is this just an admission that NFTA 2.0 is a gigantic crock of shit, and you, anatta, Legion, and anyone else who propagandized for it were tricked...AGAIN?

The plan's first step is to not listen to you and your kind of people anymore.

The first step is to freeze you out completely and not include your input in anything since your instincts suck and your judgment is poor.
how does that effectuate an improvement?

regardless of the past, how would you fix the situation with ford now?

try to be smart and constructive.

I wouldn't force a private company to do anything.

They're free to leave the country if they want.

There's nothing punitive we can do about that.

This is the "free market" you all wanted.

Letting a business do what it's going to do isn't fascism.

Fascism would be me telling the business that they couldn't leave, and then telling them what they must produce according to my orders.

Democratic Socialism would be the business sharing the profits with the workers.

businesses influencing trade policy to the detriment of the rest of the nation is fascism. Tariffs are a historical and effective trade tool. pretending otherwise is dishonestly fascistic.

ford can go to mexico and give all their profits to mexican workers if they want. But they still must
factor tariffs into their price point and determine if the u.s. market can bear their price.

tariffs are the obvious move here.

globalist zealotry is retarded like you.

They made this decision long before announcing it, idiot.

Tariffs are a historical and effective trade tool.
No they aren't, and we just fucking lived through this two years ago.

The Trade War was all about tariffs, and the tariffs from the Trade War resulted in the bankruptcy of $30B worth of farms in this country.

Raising tariffs as a punitive tool against businesses offshoring didn't fucking work when we did it 2 years ago.

    Were you not paying attention?

This is all nonsense because Ford is just exploiting the loopholes Trump created for them with his shitty revision of NAFTA.

Only if you want to destroy our economy and force through more bailouts and rescues like the one we did for trash farmers 2 years ago.

Businesses don't pay tariffs, consumers do.

Absolutely ZERO of those businesses brought jobs back to the US because of the shitty Russia tax cut.

    FROM YOUR LINK:

"In 2017 the company announced it would be moving the production of its flagship product -- the Omnipod, a tubeless, waterproof insulin pump -- from China to a new facility in Acton, Massachusetts."
They announced that long before the Russia Tax Cut was passed. So the Russia Tax Cut, which was passed at the end of December 2017, is not responsible for this.

    ALSO FROM YOUR LINK:

"In 2012, South Carolina-based consumer electronics manufacturer Element Electronics opened a new flat screen television factory in Detroit. "
Is time linear? Does 2012 come before or after 2017?

    ALSO FROM YOUR LINK:

"Over the last several years, mirror manufacturer Gentex closed its two plants in China and Mexico in an effort to centralize production in Zeeland, Michigan."
So you're trying to attribute businesses bringing production to the US 8 years ago to the Russia Tax Cut that was passed three years ago.

    So fucking lazy.

The way to deal with this now is to put massive tariffs on their cars so they cannot sell back into the u.s. so profitably after abandoning americans.

whats your plan besides blaming people who had nothing to do with nafta?
    Biden will not do that.

So you're just conceding that raising tariffs won't work in 2021 any better than they did when we raised them in 2019?
