Default MAGA "patriot" grovels for mercy

"A Georgia 18-year-old charged in the Capitol riot told a judge he’ll be a good boy if he’s allowed to go home to Mommy and Daddy"

    New York Post, March 6

Bruno Joseph Cua, who’s been in federal custody since his arrest on Feb. 5 for his role in the attack on the nation’s Capitol, wrote a letter to US District Court Judge Randolph D. Moss Thursday begging to be sent home while he’s waiting for his trial.

He promised in his letter “not to step one foot out of line” if was able to go back to his suburban Atlanta home.

“Given how innaproprite (sic) my social media activity was, I truly understand your worries,” Cua wrote. “I am not a danger to anyone, and I will absolutely never act on what I said.”

“I have completely lost those aggressive feelings and moved on from the entire politcal (sic) idea,” he added a few sentences later. “I was wrong.”

He's not alone in having a change of heart after spending over a month in prison.

Being locked up is a great attitude changer.

“The tree of liberty often has to be watered from the blood of tyrants. And the tree is thirsty,” he wrote on Jan. 7 under the Parler name @PatriotBruno. “WE THE PEOPLE have a right to rise up and overthrow a tyrannical government.” He wrote in another post that there “will be no ‘warning shot’” the next time the people rose up. And he wrote on Jan. 8 that everyone in Congress “is a traitor to the people and deserves a public execution.”

“This case is not like others,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Kimberly Paschall told the court Wednesday. “The government has now brought approximately 300 cases before the district court. This one is one of the most terrifying.”

Paschall said there were few defendants who laid out so clearly ― as Bruno Cua did in multiple social media posts on Parler ― what would happen in D.C. on Jan. 6.

“There are few other defendants who have stated their intentions so clearly and so knowingly on social media before showing up on Jan. 6,” Paschall argued. “He knew exactly what was going to happen when the rest of us did not.”

The kid has more honesty than those claiming "we were just following the president's orders."

Maybe Bruno Joseph Cua needs to learn that he will have to take responsibility for his actions.

That starts with admitting he wasn't just stupid, but that he is a fucking TRAITOR.

LOL True. Ever since Trump betrayed all of them by failing to hand out pardons, they are caught in a very, very dark place. Another reason why I think most will roll over and tell the Feds everything they know about the Insurrection, the militias, everything.

Just watch Trump wash his hands of this situation that he has instigated.

I have my doubts about how sincere his groveling was.
On January 7 he undoubtedly looked with pride on his actions the previous day.
