Just a thought, a travel ban from a country is not worth much when you allow over 40,000 people in that country come in after the ban. I would also add that a ban on one country is pretty useless when you still allow travel from countries that are in the middle of a Pandemic.

That said, in todays connected world there really is no way to stop something like a virus from travelling across borders, it will get in. The important factor is how you deal with it once it is in, in that area we have done a piss poor job and hence why will be dealing with this way longer than necessary and more people will suffer and die that should not have.

13 months ago, Donald J. Trumpf said COVID was under control and we would soon be down to zero cases. Trump's fan boys spent critical months hollering that COVID was no different than the common cold.

It is good to have a president who genuinely recognizes the risk, and is willing to take aggressive and decisive action.

Well said, thank you. I'm sure that you also noticed the lag time between banning travel from Asia and banning it from Europe and the UK, in particular. Even so, I don't fault #TRE45ON for the bans or lag time. As you correctly pointed out, what counts is what you do once it's in your midst. Doing nothing and telling everyone it'll be gone soon, and is no worse than the flu at any rate, is not what you do. For that, Trump gets 100% of the blame for how the virus has ravaged our people.

The thing that amazed me was back when it was only in Wuhan, and aboard some ships; and one of the ships docked and the passengers were simply released without being quarantined.

Let us bow our heads in prayer for that to happen. He's also under investigation in GA for election tampering, which I hope sticks like glue. NY has had his tax information for a couple of weeks now. Hope charges and indictments are forthcoming!
