I'm guessing almost all of the current crop in jail will flip on their friends for reduced sentences. There's still a few thousand unidentified insurrectionists, some who can be seen committing violent crimes attacking the police.
Most cases, IMO, will be resolved over the next six months with plea deals. It's the big cases that will go to trial simply because the charges are so big.
It's one thing to trade down from 10 to 5 years, out in 2 but what does taking 10 years off a sentence do for a person doing life for murder? Take the death penalty off the table? I doubt that's going to change many minds. Those guys will go to trial and hope to win with time served or less.
I'm surprised most aren't pissed at Trump for betraying them.
