Since you clearly don't know, first you bail, idiot
It is the responsibility of every American citizen to own a modern military rifle.

No, just the opposite, while yes it does deal with those already here, it also discourages others from coming here illegally because they would not be able to get work which is why the vast majority come here to begin with.
Part of the solution would be an expanded Green Card program, open the program for more workers, do background checks and once someone passes the card is good for 4-5 years unless they commit a Felony, then they are deported and banned from returning.
On top of that employers would be randomly checked and a first offense brings fines, a second brings heavier fines, and a third lands them in jail, the system would pay for itself.
And yes add more border Security using Technology and more agents where needed to catch the real bad guys that cross the border.

Riddle me this: why does a fence around the Capitol work when a wall along the border does not as you claim?

and the "patrolling" behind the wall is much easier when border agents aren't driving ATVS across the desert trying to chase down illegals that have penetrated the interior.

Epic fail on your part -as usual
the existing wall in areas easily accessed by vehicles existed before trump, stupid ass. enough to stop them, but not huge and ugly enough to look like a nazi berlin wall. trump just liked the thought of a wall to keep out people from shithole countries, not Norway. not white, in other words. and bigoted pieces of shit like you got off on the bigotry.

do you understand Dems supported a fence as late as 2006?

    https://www.politifact.com/factcheck...der-wall-2006/
The Secure Fence Act of 2006

The Secure Fence Act of 2006, which was passed by a Republican Congress and signed by President George W. Bush, authorized about 700 miles of fencing along certain stretches of land between the border of the United States and Mexico.

The act also authorized the use of more vehicle barriers, checkpoints and lighting to curb illegal immigration, and the use of advanced technology such as satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles.

At the time the act was being considered, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer were all members of the Senate. (Schumer of New York is now the Senate minority leader.)

Obama, Clinton, Schumer and 23 other Democratic senators voted in favor of the act when it passed in the Senate by a vote of 80 to 19.

Originally, the act called on the Department of Homeland Security to install at least two layers of reinforced fencing along some stretches of the border. That was amended later, however, through the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008, which got rid of the double-layer requirement.

“The bill before us will certainly do some good,” Obama said on the Senate floor in October 2006. He praised the legislation, saying it would provide “better fences and better security along our borders” and would “help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country.”

They still do, they just did not support the monstrosity trump wanted. Border security has always been an issue for Dems, it is not just illegals looking for work that cross, they just wanted to do it in a different way and they are going to get their chance. But as I have said several times, neither Party Really wants the problem fully dealt with, it works for both sides politically.
