The NFL has just gone through two more hiring cycles where almost no minorities have been hired. I follow a number of black sportswriters who wrote extensively about how frustrated minority coaches are at not getting jobs and not getting opportunities. They general theme, the NFL is a conservative good ole boy club that will let black athletes risk their bodies to play but won’t let them near coaching, the front office or ownership.
And, for the most part, I agree with them, but how many called for a boycott of the NFL. I bet almost none did. Why? Because America is racist, not just NFL owners, and we have learned there are more ways to address racism than a boycott that comes with varying degrees of negative complications.

I’m not saying you are wrong in what you’re saying, I’m saying that you don’t know the plan because you aren’t in the fight. Do you support Black Lives Matter? If not, why not if you care about ending racism. They fight against a racism that is much more consequential than someone getting hired for a job.

The arguments I read were people saying they weren't watching/supporting a racist league. They weren't try to mobilize a movement per se. It's not like there were hundreds or thousands of people saying this either. The NFL is the most popular sport in the country. Clearly people watch it (even if less parents are letting their kids play it at a younger age).

But it does show groups of people can boycott the same product but for different reasons.

Agreed. But there is a movement to force the NFL into better hiring practices.

You think Black Lives Matter is about ending racism? Holy fuck you're a fucktard!

It's a Communist organization that is responsible for burning many black American businesses to the ground.

They don't belong in America at all, IMO.

hawk is not your normal trumpster.. Self-proclaimed over educated genius although by communicating w/ him here you would never know he was either.........

He also claims he is a socialist but when asked to explain it his regressive reply sounds a lot like a dictionary going into a blender............
