Default Senate passes Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill

I want to thank Donald Trump for being directly responsible for the GOP losing the Senate.

Most Deplorables on this forum will be getting $1,400 dollars, $2800/couple -- the balance on that $2000 relief check the Trump Republicans refused to pass last Fall.

Goes back to the House to approve the changes and to President Biden, God I love saying that, to sign some time next week. Well done Dems, the wheels of government are actually working again now that Roadblock Mitch is out of the way.

The past three consecutive Republican presidents had to have their messes cleaned up by their Democratic predecessors.

Is there another major political party is the developed world with a record of failure and incompetence on a par with the GOP?

Isn't that how it works, one side makes a mess the other side cleans it up, while of-course the side that made the mess whines how the ones cleaning it up are not doing it fast enough or the right way as if they know.

Not in recent history, but if you ask them they will tell how great they are at getting things done.

On the weekend? I guess so!

Why is there no "Guide" to all the wasteful spending included in that bill which I am certain tallies up to more than all the people will be getting?

Maybe that's why it's going back to the House, so they can either sign off on the deletions, or get exposed as doing nothing for Americans.

That is how pervasive failure and incompetence runs in their party's presidential leadership.

Not in recent history, but if you ask them they will tell how great they are at getting things done.
When Deplorables are forced to identify a supposedly competent Republican president, they are reduced to reaching all the way back to Ronald Reagan, which was four decades ago in the midst of the 20th century.

Surprisingly, despite some lip service, Republicans have a track record of doing almost nothing for regular working people

But as long as Republicans talk a good game and ride on the wings of hatred for liberals, working people don't seem to care that they are getting shafted.

Thus, working people are neatly divided and conquered by the super-rich.
