They should have taken Joe Manchin outside and slapped him around until he supported the original bill.
How the fuck is West Virginia a part of this country, anyway?

Consumer spending about to go way up again....

Cheers from Chinese works, flat screens & new phones for everyone to prevent Americans & their illegal workers from starving to death..........
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

I'm glad the mods are on top of combining duplicate threads.
I believe this is the earlier one, however, so the other one is the offender.

He’s alright, good to have a moderate, just replaces Collins, Marchowski, and Romney, except this time the moderate gets along with his party and isn’t scorned by the party leader

Old enough to remember when the moderates from both parties played a key role in the Congress, when people put accomplishments above party loyalty

Maybe so; but I'd still like to see the prick cuffed around. He rubs me wrong, as they say.

The real question is, how are we going to pay for all that when the bill comes due?

The WaPo gushes over this idiot bill in an article entitled,

Biden stimulus showers money on Americans, sharply cutting poverty and favoring individuals over businesses
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

I highlighted the operative word. It doesn't cut poverty at all. It is temporary and people in a couple of months will be right back where they were before they got their latest round of "free" money.

I don't know what you'll do with yours, but this check like the last two goes straight into a savings account or one of our IRA's.

What we need is the country reopened--completely--and getting back to work, not handouts on a credit card from the government.
