so you are on record as opposing giving 16 year olds the right to vote?.....

18 seems like a reasonable age, but I am not opposed to 16. I just support 18 more than other numbers.

The For the People Act says nothing about 16 year olds voting, just registering to vote if by the next election they are 18.... And if their state approves.

I'm starting to think the voting age should be 50.

I can see why. trump voters are mostly old and dying. If you can stop the young, and middle age from voting, trump has some hope in 2024.

My comment had nothing to do w/ that.....

    But no, I am not.

I went into the military @ 17, that should be the age for those serving the country, 18 for everyone else......
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."
