To be fair, in '13 a bi partisan Senate bill died in Boehner's 'one term POTUS' House. Then again in Ryan's House for the same reason.

They refused to bring it to the floor because they knew it would pass. That's how DACA was born.

Greg Abbott, Cancun Raffy Cruz, and John Cornyn have the formidable task of trying to out douchebag the infamous DeSantis / Scott / Rubio trio.

True, it is nothing new, even the Dems had the issue. That sort of non-governance changed my mind from believing Congress needed to be 50/50 between the two Parties, one having the House the other the Senate, I have learned that it does not work as expected. Having a split should have made them work together better and bring balance to Bills being passed, it did not and actually result in a stalemate which for all intents and purposes shut down the government from accomplishing anything. A Prime example in working on the far too long overlooked infrastructure, it came to the forefront under President Obama, did not move forward and them trump did nothing on it, Biden says it is a high priority but I will wait and see if the actions actually match the words. DACA was the same, let's see some action not talk.

I agree. I was so disgusted with Washington, I didn't vote for POTUS in '16. Only voted down ballot.

It's clear that without a super majority, nothing gets done in Congress. We need to get rid of the 80 year olds while we're at it. With Leahy leading the impeachment trial, it was clear that he needs to retire before he dies in office and the Republican governor appoints a republican.

We cannot have the wellbeing of the nation teetering on the health of a handful of key players. Poor Ruth Bader Ginsburg tried her best to hold out until trump was ousted. She just missed her mark.

As soon as they see the joy and hear the laughter of our citizens returning to normal life, they’ll be sure to pack up and leave at once.”

So Texans will leave? That means Mexicans will get Alamo back.

What makes you think they're staying in Texas?

AUSTIN, TX—Governor Greg Abbott of Texas has just lifted the mask mandate and is allowing business to return to 100% capacity. The Governor explains that in these trying times, extreme measures must be taken to stop the spread of Californians into Texas and to scare them off from ever wanting to return.

“The last thing we need is a bunch of sissies from California moving to our beautiful state of Texas and screwing everything up and turning the state blue!” said Governor Abbott during a Lubbock Chamber of Commerce event. “Too many Californians have entered our state. Too many ridiculous liberal ideas have already been proposed. This must end. It’s time to open Texas 100%.”

Governor Abbott continued, “We believe that by removing the mask requirement that all of the Californians will flee in terror, restoring our state to its former glory. As soon as they see the joy and hear the laughter of our citizens returning to normal life, they’ll be sure to pack up and leave at once.”

The Governor has strategically placed “No Masks Required” stickers on all Texas state signs warning all who enter of what lies beyond. He has expressed hope that this will send any namby-pamby who reads it back around to where they came from. “We tried buying and carrying more guns around, but somehow that didn't work. Then we tried driving around in big, lifted, gas-guzzling trucks, but they still kept coming. But now by removing our masks for good Texas can finally start to heal.”

After seeing immediate results by reversing the mask mandate, Governor Abbott has been looking for more ways to scare off the cry-baby cowards. He has now removed all social distancing guidelines and even encouraged citizens to stop washing their hands.

What means squat to them is the collateral damage caused by some of these policies. Finally, some of our leaders are recognizing it and have the courage to act on it.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
