Default You're an essential worker but not worth $15 per hour minimum wage

There is assault on the working class in the USA and both parties can go fuck themselves! Yes! The USA is a failed state for the average person.

A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Hardly. The average person in the US doesn't make a mere $15 an hour now.

    https://www.ziprecruiter.com/Salarie...alary-by-State

The average wage in the US is approxmately $25 to $35 an hour depending on the state you're in. $15 an hour is really a starter wage or one for those that lack skills, ability, or education / training. I don't see where we as a nation should be rewarding those of limited ability a wage in excess of their productivity. It is a negative incentive to improve yourself and get a better paying job.

A Minimum Wage should be a Livable Wage.
If the Employee has to collect Welfare to survive, that's called 'Socialism for the Company'.

Why? to both. If you can't produce $15 worth of value doing what you do where you do it why should you get $15 an hour by government fiat? If you have to collect welfare to survive maybe you should start reassessing how you ended up in that situation and fix your issues and problems to get a better job. Your incompetence and lethargicness don't entitle you to more compensation than you deserve just because the government says so.

Really? What does the average Congressperson generate re. 'value' vs pay?
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Yes, they are grossly over-paid. They should be paying us for the privilege of serving in Congress...

Those numbers are horseshit. In my state, Idaho, there is no fucking way the average salary is $58,000. The Census Bureau indicates the median HOUSEHOLD income is $56,000.

Okay, let's say you're correct. That's still well above $15 an hour which translates to about $30,000 a year.

    https://www.convertunits.com/hourly/15#:~:text=Then%20you%20would%20be%20working%2050% 20weeks%20of,an%20average%20annual%20income%20of%2 0$30,000%20per%20year.

At $56,000 that translates to about $26 an hour full time for a 40 hour work week.

Jobs do not give pay as gifts. You trade your time, labor and talents for pay. When FDR started the min wage, he said it was a living wage, and any company that did not pay it has no reason to exist in America.
The average hourly [pay is 11.43.https://www.statista.com/statistics/...ees-in-the-us/

$15 an hour for a 2 person household is $62,000 a year, dumbfuck.
