But we don't apply the same concept when discussing minimum wage. We keep demanding the people should 'earn' $15/hr. (it's actually more like $16.20/hour after FICA costs to the employer). There are valid arguments to be made about an across the board $15 wage being extremely high in states with very low cost of living.
Raising the cost of goods to account for the labor costs, would not be as much of a hardship on the consumer as many claim.
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
