But we don't apply the same concept when discussing minimum wage. We keep demanding the people should 'earn' $15/hr. (it's actually more like $16.20/hour after FICA costs to the employer). There are valid arguments to be made about an across the board $15 wage being extremely high in states with very low cost of living.

Raising the cost of goods to account for the labor costs, would not be as much of a hardship on the consumer as many claim.
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I guess that would depend on the product right or service right?

Your incompetence and lethargicness don't entitle you to more compensation than you deserve just because the government says so.
You could have said the same thing to a Serf in Feudal Europe, a Slave in the Antebellum South, or a Central American Migrant.

The average wage in the US is approxmately $25 to $35 an hour depending on the state you're in. $15 an hour is really a starter wage or one for those that lack skills, ability, or education / training. I don't see where we as a nation should be rewarding those of limited ability a wage in excess of their productivity. It is a negative incentive to improve yourself and get a better paying job.
IUt makes sense when you realize most liberals are fucking losers with a revenge fantasy

Not according to the most recent link. You are using outdated data. No surprise there.

That's only true if both persons were working full time, each earning about 31,000. That's not one job by one person's annual wage at $15 an hour. It is completely disingenuous to conflate two person's wages here.

Minimum wage used to go up almost every year, until... the Reagan administration.

When it says HOUSEHOLD income. dumbfuck, it means just that. HOUSEHOLD. Know what the AVERAGE household size is, Einstooge? 2.7.

So, the 2 person household is low.

Household doesn't mean two jobs or that everyone in the household is employed.
