It seems entirely possible given how leftists behave. The problem with leftists has always been that they over play their hand. They think the election was an indictment by the american people of all things republican and conservative. As a result they will push their cancerous agenda believing they have the full support of the american people but will wake up one day and they will be out of power and they will scratch their asses because they can't figure out what went wrong. Their pomposity is consistent.

The 25th Amendment spells it out. The new "president", in this case Shamala - gets to appoint anyone she wants to, and the DEMOCRAT-dominated Congress then votes to confirm her choice.

Nasty Nancy very publicly backed a Congressional committee to "investigate" using the 25th Amendment last October. She said it wasn't about Trump, but "future presidents".
