As if it's his fault. Try complaining with the far right and the progressive democrats over the minimum wage stuff. While it's a good thing to swing for down the road it isn't now when employers are already just barely keeping doors open in many types of businesses because of COVID.

Maybe don't put stuff in COVID relief bills designed to destroy the economies of everywhere outside of Puget Sound, Multnomah Co, Coastal CA, Cook Co, the Beltway, and Coastal NE.

Because the government took away their ability to go make the 2000 bucks.
Seriously, just because you may have been fortunate to escape your job being shut down, you really should understand that many people have had their opportunities thwarted

When the government shuts down the economy, it absolutely owes the public stimulus checks, PPP checks, and small business loans to compensate for its own actions (damages). Of course, adding a bunch of crap into the bill is unacceptable.

Couldnt they try and find other work? Any job,...no matter what it is has to be far better than just sitting there waiting and starving I would think...

Even picking cans from the side of the road would be better than doing NOTHING IMO. At least it would be some income.

That didn't really work in the 1930s (for individuals), even though it did result in a lot of successful public works projects, from clean streets to dam construction.
