No need to over think this. If you were born in the US, inherited a Christian tradition, eat wonder bread, watch Fox, listen to talk radio and troll bullshit, have a ton of strong opinions and know very little,
you just might be one. On the other hand, if you live a healthy lifestyle, read books and want the world to be a better place, you are most definitely not one.

    nice work.
Of course there is no "white Xtian nationalism" - it's just a cobbled hodge podge of RW boogeymen
trotted out by Dems for something to focus their hate upon.

Dems need to hate. it's how they keep their coalition going. Trump is gone at least for now-
so trot out the White Xtians -Woke's fave target

Default MAGA Christian woman has emotional breakdown

Here is a MAGA women who clearly believes at a visceral level that there is a nexus between nationalism, rightwing Christianity, and Trumpism.

WZB Berlin Social Science Center believes that Trumpism rests on three pillars, namely nationalism, religion and race.

A bit of trivia, "is it a thing" is an expression popularized on the show West Wing a 20 or more years ago. Funny to see that broken wave
finally made it to the flyover.

I am far from the most hip guy around, but that expression seems to have lost favor on the west coast at least 5 years ago.

to my point... I'm not a maven for that hipster stuff either, just noting the linguistic history.

More broadly there is a flow to this stuff, idiomatic expressions, and how they propagate. It mirrors everything else. It's fun just to
be able to tell the future of West Virginia in 50 years by walking around every day observing the now in California.
I wonder when they'll pass a civil rights act?

ROFL @ wiki "historians" history isnt history anymore -it's a blend of narratives and social science
    ~
    this is pretty close:
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleoconservatism
"paleoconservatives press for restrictions on immigration, a rollback of multicultural programs and large-scale demographic change, the decentralization of federal policy, the restoration of controls upon free trade, a greater emphasis upon economic nationalism and non-interventionism in the conduct of American foreign policy"
drop the xenophobia junk noise and you are almost there

but the opinion of ONE obscure and who knows how well educated, self-proclaimed "Christian theologian" carries a lot of weight with you.......

The trouble with sarcasm is that there's always some numb-skull bogged down in literalism.
