    Default The Murderous Monarch

President Biden hasn’t pushed for real justice, but at least he’s not as obsequious as his predecessor.

The Biden administration formally acknowledged on Friday what President Donald Trump would not, that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia approved the plan to kill the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi. But Mr. Biden seems to have concluded that the potential cost of taking action against the 35-year-old de facto ruler of a key American ally was simply too high.

You certainly wouldn't want another 9/11.

So, what were Khashoggi's dissenting views that got him killed exactly?

    Huh...?

Here's a few quick points on him:

He was buddies with the Erdogan government in Turkey and advocated for a similar acceptance of secularism mixed with political Islam in Saudi Arabia
He was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood
He knew and had met with Osama bin Laden several times prior to 9/11, meeting him for interviews, etc., at Tora Bora in Afghanistan.
He was an advocate of imposition of Islamic rule on nations
He was a harsh critic of the Saudi monarchy and very public about it using television media outside Saudi Arabia in various Gulf states to push his views.

In the US he was well known in the usual Leftist circles as well as to journalists at the New York Times and Washington Post.

Really? Then how do you explain your statement being in direct opposition to biographies of him on the internet?

You cited nothing. When you substantiate your opinion with an actual citation of a source I'll consider it.
