The GOP cannot win elections on the numbers and they are a no policy party, which will never give the people what is actually needed and popular so they sell the snake oil of racism to an ignorant electorate. They will double down on suppressing the vote. Ms. Goh-Wargo is correct...the Dems better do whatever can be done to stop this shit!Lauren Groh-Wargo, who managed Stacey Abrams’ campaign for governor, joins Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the fight to keep states like Georgia and Arizona blue in 2022 as Republicans push hundreds of “egregious” restrictive voting laws. She says Democrats in Congress need to pass “federal action this year” to protect voting rights: “It’s time for Democrats nationally to understand how pressing this crisis.”

BLUEXITA Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red
Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.
It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.
This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Conservatives can't win elections based on the merits of their ideas, or any policy successes (because they have none), so instead they try to prevent people from voting.
It's an ideology that is completely bereft of morality or ethics.
Conservatism has always been like this though, even 65 years ago when William F. Buckley wrote that "Conservatism stands athwart history, yelling STOP" less than a year after Brown v. Board of Education.

Well, not really because the only reason turnout was so high was because access to voting was expanded during the pandemic, against the wishes of the GQP.
There were still plenty of long lines, with people waiting in line for 4-8 hours.
There were still voter purges.
There were still vote suppression tactics like this one: My unsolicited mail in ballot winds up in neighbors box
And of course hanging all over this was the threat of COVID, which made it risky to go out to the polls in the first place, and kept primary turnout down.
