Common sense says we need to play this by ear. When the numbers drop, we can do more things. This is what the experts have been telling you from the beginning, but you refuse to listen.

That was 11 months ago, so you would probably have little defense now, if you want to go by the science.

The new varieties are unknown quantities. They appear to be much more dangerous and the vaccine may not work on them. I guess rightys are immune to them, so they should go on like Corona never happened. On one hand, you have guidelines by the totally unreliable doctors and CDC. On the other, you have the pros on Fox and Infowars. Have at it rightys. Ignore the guidelines because for some reason the medical profession gets paid for destroying the economy. They do not care about public safety and saving lives. Fox does though.

Fauci said. "When it goes way down, and the overwhelming majority of the people in the population are vaccinated, then I would feel comfortable in saying you know we need to pull back on the masks, we don’t need to have masks."

We'll let you know when we get there, OK?

    this again? learn memory T-cells!

    https://www.cebm.net/covid-19/what-i...an-antibodies/
    potential for long-term immunity
Early research suggests that the antibodies in people infected with SARS-CoV-2 dropped significantly within 2 to 3 months [21,22], causing concern that humoral immunity against the virus may decline rapidly. However, it is a normal part of the immune response that antibody levels fall after an infection has resolved [23]. For example, in seasonal coronavirus infections, antibodies start to decline at about a week after infection and typically only last for about a year [24]. It should also be noted that memory T and B cells are formed after infection [25,26]; these can be reactivated when another infection with the same virus occurs and could provide long-lasting immunity. A preliminary study that has not yet undergone peer review has shown that memory T and B cells were found in patients with mild COVID-19 symptoms who had recovered and that these cells persisted, suggesting the potential for longer-term immunity [27].

SARS-CoV-2-specific memory T cells have also been detected in exposed seronegative healthy individuals (relatives of confirmed cases), which may indicate asymptomatic infection. One study has shown that ~93% of “exposed asymptomatic” individuals had a T cell response to SARS-CoV-2, despite seropositivity in only 60% of cases [28]. Asymptomatic infections may therefore be more common, and antibody testing alone may underestimate the true prevalence of the infection or population immunity. SARS-CoV-2-specific T cells were found in most of the convalescent patients in this study, which is a promising sign that infection may give rise to immunity [29]

    WTF?
after 2 vaccinations you are immune, and any viral load is insignificant for transmission

There is the suggestion of potential longer than 3 month long immunity... But there is also the suggestion that you can Covid-19 over and over again, every couple of months. In fact, it has been proven that some people get Covid-19 more than once. How many? We do not know.

We really do not have all the answers. We are going to have to play this by ear.

Viral load studies are incredibly complex, which is why we know nothing of the sort. What Dukkha is claiming is possible, but far less than likely.

We really desperately needed those Covid-19 tests for the vaccine experiments, but they turned out to be a trump fantasy.

How is he wrong, even your Fox article had to admit “data is still out on how transmissible the virus is from someone who has been vaccinated,” meaning if you have been vaccinated you can still catch Covid and as minimal as the chance is you can still pass it on to others

In his position, Fauci has to be over cautious, it’s his role, the Science is the common denominator to everything he says

I cheer Fauci being conservative about the disease. It is here and may get worse if we open up too soon. https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/cov...RiBfR83pGUfWuM
