Like bowling, golf is a "sport" that requires little physical effort. You play it while eating, drinking, smoking, etc. You can move hole to hole in a motorized vehicle.

That some golfers also body build or do other exercise doesn't change that.

The best description of golf is by Mark Twain: Golf. A good walk spoiled.
