Fed Refuses to Disclose Recipients of $2 Trillion (Update1)
By Mark Pittman
Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Reserve refused a request by Bloomberg News to disclose the recipients of more than $2 trillion of emergency loans from U.S. taxpayers and the assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.
Bloomberg filed suit Nov. 7 under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act requesting details about the terms of 11 Fed lending programs, most created during the deepest financial crisis since the Great Depression.
The Fed responded Dec. 8, saying it’s allowed to withhold internal memos as well as information about trade secrets and commercial information. The institution confirmed that a records search found 231 pages of documents pertaining to some of the requests.
I find them perfectly expectable.

Then fire them. Per the constitution Congress has authority over the money, if they do not wish to tell the people with the authority what is going on, then Congress is going to have to take its authority back.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Which is something JFK tried to do (actually he DID do it, but it was reversed after his death by Johnson).
The money being printed should be done by the US government, not by the Federal Reserve banks. Every bit of that information should be made public immediately.
Congress needs to fix this problem once and for all. Get the money out of the hands of the Reserve banks owners (yes you... Rockefellers, Rothschilds etc...)

They use mean annual and five year means in trend analysis. Don't tell me I have to explain the difference to you. "
Stop the presses! Superfreak is right about something!
Most people don't know that the Federal Reserve System is not a real "Federal" institution any more than this company: http://www.federalpremium.com/
Congress has been acting illegally in allowing a private institution to coin the money and then loan it to the government at interest since 1913, and its no coincidence that it was the same year the Income Tax ass raping was passed.
But its interesting to hear you from the left searching for accountability in the bailout out of one side of your mouth, and callng for a blank check for the auto industry out of the other.
Guess what lefties? The beloved government that you look to to solve all the worlds problems is a corrupt piece of shit that will screw you one way or another. Will you ever learn?
