    Default Vice President Kamala Harris

That's all one has to say to set the right wing off.

Must be sad to be afflicted with such seething hatred...

It should set the left wing off, the damage she has done to black communities and her sociopathic actions while she was CA AG should have dq'd her and she should have been disbarred.

Yes, we know many would like to forget the history-making aspect of the 2020 election.

But we can't unelected a woman of color as our VP.

    It happened.

Hey, at least she's not your Senator any more...

They prevent me from reading that article because I won't give them my personal contact information for the purpose of being bombarded with unwanted marketing.

But I do recall reading an article way back in Mother Jones that was critical of her performance as AG. She was not my first choice for president.

Not really. You know, we don't usually hear a lot from a vice president, so it sort of struck me that yes, we really elected her, when I saw a story about her swearing in openly gay Pete Buttigieg as Transportation Secretary:

Buttigieg could 'feel the history swirling' when Vice President Kamala Harris swore him in

But I didn't really want to begin a thread about that.

Of course, having a feel for this discussion board, I knew all I had to do was toss her name out there to spark up a conversation.

According to the forum's search function, there are eight pages of threads with the name Kamala in the title. I did not even bother tracking down threads which only had her last name, Harris, in the title.

It took Vice President Pence >four years just to get up to 11 pages of threads with his name in the thread title.

Obviously, there is an order of magnitude difference in notoriety she is receiving as a Vice President compared to Pence.

Right on. A work around. I don't use either of those browsers but found a similar feature in the one I do use. Thanks. The article gathers many such instances of VP Harris doing a proficient job of what she was supposed to do as AG. Yes, there is a guy serving a 70-year sentence for sexually abusing his daughter who has since been identified as a chronic liar, and we don't really know the truth. No, she did not act like a 'progressive AG' in that role, and she didn't back down. It was her job to get that conviction; she did it, and she stood by it. It was proven beyond a doubt in a court of law. Should she have allowed the case to be retried? Perhaps so. The MJ article covered such instances. She was not my first choice when she ran for president and her campaign didn't get far. But she turned out to be the right choice for Joe Biden, and they won. That's politics. Yes, it gets messy. It's real.

    Good criticism. Thanks. Well done.

(Yeah, of course, many of those threads I refuse to participate in because I insist on civil discourse.)

The hatred must have something to do with the woman of color thing.

It's not that it is her. It is who she is, what she represents.

And hatred for all things BLM.

Which I totally see as guilt personified.
