    Default Trump loses in court.......again

Ruh-roh. Trump lost his SCOTUS appeal and the banks will have to turn over Trumps tax returns.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/22/polit...nce/index.html

I don't think Trump needs to worry about whether he's running for President in 2024. He'll be too busy running from Bubba.

This thread is to discuss the impact of this ruling on Donald Trump and the criminal Trump organization.

"The Supreme Court cleared the way for a New York prosecutor to obtain former President Donald Trump's tax returns, dealing a massive loss to Trump who has fiercely fought to shield his financial papers from prosecutors."

What a thing of beauty -- even his stacked court with hand-picked-for-loyalty Supremes wouldn't save his bacon.

I'm really looking forward to the criminal and civil proceedings.

    Tsk, tsk, tsk.

The words "chickens" "home" and "roost" all come to mind at this moment.
ON HIS WORST DAY, JOE BIDEN IS A BETTER PRESIDENT THAN TRUMP WAS ON HIS BEST DAY!

This is one step closer for Trump to end-up in the slammer.

    THIS IS IT!!!

the bizarre, three-year litany of dreaming off impeachment, the emoluments clause, the Logan Act,
the 25th Amendment, the Mueller special-counsel investigation, Stormy Daniels and Michael Avenatti,
Trump’s tax returns, White Supremacy!, Recession! Russian oligarchs! Whistle Blower! Impeachment & Aquittal!
    — and Lord knows what next — wait. Wu-Flu. Trump lied / people died.

So what do you think will happen if/when an abortion case comes before them? Dismissal? Will they hear it? If so, will they reverse Roe v Wade?

I think it will depend a lot on the facts of the case. If it is a regulation that has already been ruled on I doubt if they take it; unless a lower court ruled contrary to precedent.

If it presents a different issue a "non-activist" court would defer to the judgment of the legislative body that made that law but they have to weigh that against precedent that regulations should not present an "undue burden" to women.

I sometimes wonder if the court might allow restrictions for less than 24 weeks since Roe was based on viability and medical advancements have been made in that area.
