Yes, you should. The insurance company can keep the interest earned, plus a reasonable amount of fees deducted. The principle should be refunded.

so if it gets written, no problem.......everything hunkydory.....this whole argument presumes the legislature will write it.......if they don't the whole issue is moot anyway......

SS requires you to pay into it then at retirement age you can begin receiving benefits relative to what you paid. And those are equal to all participants. As required by the Constitution.

Democrat want a 15.00 a hours wage but shouldn't people on a fixed income such as SSI SSDI snd ss who have no other income be given the same income .

I know 2 women who gets a tad over 800 a month in social security and have no other incomes . Shouldn't they be taken care of also ?
Well yeah! Or they should have the option of saving for their own retirement. Dammit!
Idk, I am not SS eligible. Right now.

yes.....that is what the SS laws currently written way........if they were written a different way they would say something else........the issue is how the legislature might rewrite them.....it is simple fact that means testing is NOT unconstitutional.......laws may not arbitrarily discriminate, but if there is a rational basis for differentiation, there can be differentiation......
