I reviewed the charges filed against the more than 200 people arrested for criminal misconduct related to January 6 and found only 14 defendants face any sort of weapons charge. Offenses vary; indictments range from possession of a “deadly” weapon on “restricted” grounds to assaulting a police officer.

But so far, just two people have been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm—and there’s no proof either man “breached” the Capitol let alone threatened lawmakers as part of a coordinated, armed insurrection.

You are as usual wrong. Trump was pushing the insurrection for several weeks on Twitter. He just coincidentally held a rally of all the people he roused up on 1-6 as the electoral college was being certified. At the rally, he had several speakers rile them with angry and violent speeches. Trump spoke of anger, violence, being cheated, and talked about stopping the vote.
Trump at the rally said the election was stolen by radical Dems. . he said we will not let them silence your vote. We are not going to let it happen.
