Gasoline has been going up a lot from last year even with demand down in winter .

It is going up because demand is going up, production is still at fairly low levels and OPEC is operating in a slow down mode due to their energy war with Russia. That said, the US Oil and Gas companies do need to raise prices due to so much revenue loss over the last year, so going up a bit is not really a bad thing. How high it will go probably depends more on OPEC than anything in the US. Clear it up.
It's up to $3.12 here. That's an increase of about $0.12 in the last week or so alone.
It is true the prices dropped due to the Trump depression. Demand was way down. Now businesses are getting faith and are starting to work again.
Gas prices are not just a reflection of demand. They are moved by the commodity market. It will be a long time before American demand will impact pricing, https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activi...ities/cl%3Anmx
