Bush didn't allow al-Qaeda to run loose for almost a decade attacking and killing Americans.

BTW, calling me a dumb fuck indicates you are angry. Why? Because you know I'm right?

we must all learn to hear what we do not like - the questions is not, "is it pleasant?" but, "is it true?"

It was built by slave owners
No one has ever changed it so it can resist the weather it gets
Yes, Louisiana was a slave state. General Jackson slaughtered Brits by the bushel there too....after the war of 1812 ended. Too bad the Brits didn't have Twitter. LOL
Once destroyed there are two options: Move or rebuild. The idiots, with Bush's help, rebuilt instead of moving to higher ground. Another Katrina-type disaster is in the offing.

Then why are you blaming this dead woman?
The Republican Party has REFUSED to invest in American infrastructure for decades
They want this nation to crumble
They are proud to scream they hate government
They do nothing but try to starve this great nation into a crumbling heap
They dream of a corporate run nation with the citizens reduced to third world status
Yeah
It’s stressful when half of this great nations population is chewing at its beams like fucking rabid assed rats who have been programmed by a propaganda hole masquerading as news
This nation is being sold out by a zombie Republican Party on bath salts
They won’t win
They will be flushed down the toilet like the turds they are
She wasn't dead before or during Katrina. Why do you keep forgetting the man in the picture? Ray Nagin, the corrupt Democratic mayor of NOLA.
Agreed on the current Republican party. We officially parted ways in 2012, but I had been losing faith in them ever since the 2000 Bush campaign when the NeoCons trashed American veterans.
At the moment, the Republicans are more fucked up than NOLA's Hurricane plans before Katrina.

Clinton bombed Iraq in 1992
Bombed the fuck out of all their weapons sites
That is why people KNEW SADAM had no weapons
The first world trade tower bombing took place 20 or so days into Clinton’s first term
We didn’t get bombed again until Bush came in calling it all wag the dog lies
Then for 9 months the dumb fuck fought with his terror experts
He forced them out of jobs
Then 911 happened
Disagreed on your chewing analogy much less that half are doing it. Progress is slow but it's advance or die. We're advancing.....just not as fast as some people would like.
The Republican Party is it's own worst enemy. It's a shrinking party and might shrink even more depending upon what they do over the next couple years. CPAC will be interesting. Will they laugh at Trump like the UN did? Or will they embrace him like the "Great White Hope" and continue marching to self-destruction?
IMO, the RNC leadership is biding its time until the inevitable arrests and trials. Why stand against Trump when he'll end up removing himself? I think the Republican party will see a watershed moment between now and the midterms. Probably later this year as multiple investigations are wrapped up and charges filed. Not fully functional as a party, but definitely on the path to rebuilding a sane, conservative party.
And, yes, Trump will be mostly if not fully out of the picture. His little dogs too.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
- -- Aristotle
Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
- -- The Buddha
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
