Unanue's family has told him he went to far, and they said it in one of the kindest ways possible.

It is not speculation to say sales going up by 10 times is not possible. That is just reality. It would not be possible. I cannot even speculate on how sales really did move, but I doubt they had much to do with his statements. I will speculate his statements have not moved sales much in either direction.
According to this story on Business Insider, the majority of the stockholders wanted to completely remove him as CEO. As a compromise, the board voted for censure instead.

Obviously if his mouth weren't damaging business, no one would care. In fact, if his mouth was truly increasing sales as claimed by the Reichtards, they wouldn't have done a thing.

Let's say they have 5% profit, so for every dollar in sales, they spent 95 cents to get it. You multiple that by 10 times, and you have them spending $9.95 to get a $1 of sales. They would have gone broke decades ago if they were doing that.

Want to know what is not a joke? Goya is selling bonds. That means investors are being asked to judge their credit worthiness. Unanue's "joke" is being used by some of those investors, which starts to look like felony fraud.

Seems they are building a new plant due to demand.

    thats my position.
They are selling bonds to expand their business. Unanue made an untruthful statement about sales, as they are trying to sell bonds. That starts really looking like fraud.

From what I have read thier sales have boosted and a whole new class of customer was created, bubba in other words out in nebraska suddenly discovered their products are good.

but I will read your evidence when you post it.
"However, despite four weeks on the public stage, just $10 million of that free marketing was positive — and the brand received $47 million worth of negative publicity, Apex Marketing Group told NBC News. The remaining $35 million was neutral.

"Promotion from a sitting president can give brands millions of dollars in media exposure, Eric Smallwood, president of Apex Marketing, said. However, “The overall reaction of support of that product/brand will likely be impacted with a variety of consumer reactions, which could affect immediate or future sales or marketing campaigns.”

"Sales figures for the privately held brand were not available and Goya declined to return calls and emails for comment."

And that being said, they are increasing investment in processing plants and equipment as demand has grown. Why did they climb? Nothing to do with politics, but with increased demand due to more people eating at home, and people looking to buy shelf-stable products to lessen the number of trips to the grocery store -- and more exposure to COVID. Goya is not the only food company experiencing growth due to these factors.

Nobody has a right to yell "FIRE!" in a crowded theater or otherwise incite undue panic.

The right has been given a LOT of latitude allowing Trump to spread lies and conspiracy theories. That reached a zenith when it prompted a crowd of followers to attack our own government. That was a clear dividing line between expressing a view and causing damage to the nation.

Many on the right have lost the ability to discern the difference.

They may cry censorship all day long. That is their right. They are not right.

These measures are being done for the safety and protection of We, The People, and for the security of the United States of America.
