Of course he did. What a douche!
Kissing Joe Manchin’s ass, his daughter is CEO of a epipen company.
It is all about the profit$ and kickback$.
This was already hashed out here and is an exaggerated and stretched truth.
These are non-profit clinics, so it is not about the profits. It is about possibly moving money from the less needy to the more needy, and not having to fill out as much paperwork.
Lets say two patients come into a non-profit clinic to buy some insulin that wholesales at $100, but retails at $120. Today, the clinic could charge the richer patient $120, and use the extra money to reduce the poorer patient's bill down to $80. Under trump's plan, both patients would have to pay $110, with the extra money going to fill out all the new paperwork trump's plan injects into the system. The richer patient gets a bit of a discount, but the poorer patient has to pay much more... Which he cannot afford.
I say let charities figure out how best to do their job, within reason. Government should get involved if there is real corruption, but there is no corruption here.
