How are you supposedly "standing up for female athletes"?
If a transgender athlete decides he wants to compete with them and they consider themselves equal to any challenge and any male, why should they be denied the opportunity?
And why do you just assume they are inferior because they were born with a vagina instead of a penis?
Don't bother answering because I already know why.... you're a typical right-wing chauvinist pig.
And an idiot.

Do you find it hard to think your own thoughts these days? None of that is true, of course. Maybe turn off the OANN and Newsmax and talk to real people out in the world. "Liberals" are not at all concerned about President Biden. In fact, we are ecstatic for the EOs he has issued so far, his Cabinet picks, and his message of unity and "we're all in this together." The fact that you are incapable of hearing that message says a lot about the darkness of your soul and the depth of your disdain for our nation and for the majority of our citizens.

I’m trying to envision how many female athletes this will truly restrict. Almost none.
Think about how many transgender athletes there truly are. My metropolitan area is about 750,000. It includes a university. Know how many transgender athletes there are? To my knowledge, ONE. A runner at Boise State.
Much ado about nothing.

It is, and it's a poor argument because the feminization process causes loss of muscle mass and strength in males. Conversely, a woman taking male hormones may find that her muscles will become larger, especially if she works out. Even so with a smaller skeletal structure it's unlikely that the average trans female-to-male person would be able to compete against male athletes in sports that require a lot of physical strength, like linebacker or weight lifting.

IMHO, the whole mess is archaic thinking coupled with political correctness. Boxing, wrestling and other competitions routinely divide participants into weight classes and/or age groups.
I've won several blue ribbons in small, local 5K and 10Ks because I was the only one in my age group to actually jog instead of walk. Same for some Tai Kwon Do competitions in my mid-30s because it was me and another guy who were the only ones in that age and belt category. I won. Woot! He automatically got the Second Place trophy.
As such, dividing sports competitions by weight, size, ability or other variable may be more fair for everyone. Schools have a problem of too much division because it incurs higher costs. Regardless, I think we can do better without watering down the sport, being biased or breaking the budget.
