Agreed Trump never learned his lesson. He's delusional. Learning a lesson requires rationality and maturity.
Collins, like McConnell, is too old to run again in 7 years. So it's finally safe to actually do what's right. I don't know how many of these Senators will get on board after Romney/Murkowski and the aforementioned?

If McConnell is serious about this, he'll instruct enough members to be absent when the vote takes place. If they were smart, they would do anything and everything to exorcise trump from the party.

LOL. You read his crap? If people would stop quoting him, I wouldn't have to see any of it.

    Not that I read it.

Shouldn't this be the moment in time when the procedural stuff flies through? The 'settling down' usually brings the partisan nonsense.

Fine...I'll wait a week and see what happens

It's like breaking in a motor. OTOH, some shit really needs to get done in a hurry like fight the pandemic as the primary plan to restore the economy followed by preventing insurrect led by national leaders.

How many swing over is a good indicator just like the style of their Kabuki theater. I suspect it will be a lot quieter in a few weeks than "LIAR!" or any of Trump's bullshit.

Perfect analogy, which is why the procedural stuff should just move through at low RPMs. McConnell, thus far, begs to differ.
