I'll likely donate something much more important: time.

It's going to be difficult for them to win even WITH the Trump base. They've been led to believe the system is rigged. Democrats had no business winning two Senate seats in Georgia. They won because of Trump. Biden will not run again, I don't think there's much question about that. He is the equivalent of the ER doctor. The patient will be triaged and stabilized by 2024.

I do agree that things change, so your timeline is probably pretty accurate, I don't Republicans have any chance over the next 4-6 years. The Senate map in 2022 is horrible for them. The only seat they might flip is the Georgia seat. They have two Senators retiring, and they are defending in those two states (North Carolina and Pennsylvania) as well as in Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida. I suppose there might be some chance for Republicans in Arizona and Nevada, but overall, they are underdogs to win the Senate back.
Thanks. Sorry, I should have been more specific about the Democrats in general doing the gloating, which they are. I'm certain they'll calm down once the novelty wears off and reality hits home. Disagreed on the math. Still, I don't see the Patriot Party becoming anything more than Trump University for political nutjobs.

Thanks for looking ahead. I haven't looked at what seats are up and the odds since there is going to be a two-year realignment before that happens. Overall, we're agreed the Republicans have a 4-6 year uphill battle ahead. I wouldn't say "no chance", but it's certainly not a "high chance" of success.

You should. Divorced men estranged from their families can find happiness in work.

We don't have to. Trump said when he ran that he was self-funding and did not have to raise money. So they can start a new party on his dime. He will want total control, so personal total financing would ensure that power.

Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

The good news is that it will remove all the Trump cocksuckers from the Republican party allowing the Republicans to return to sanity.
Yup, with about 50+% less following.

If you lose 20% of all registered voters, there is no way that can be made up by disgruntled Republicans returning to the fold. So the best hope is that the passion for Trump fades away. Best way to have that happen is to render him irrelevant as a candidate, so it seems like Republicans would be wise to see him convicted. We'll see.
Maybe it would be best if they did not convict the asshole. If he is convicted and can't run what's the sense in forming this party, he won't be running. If he isn't convicted he can run and will split the rightwing vote in half. He deserves to be convicted but maybe it's best if he isn't. Even if he remains republican he will never win again after being impeached twice and being leader of a domestic terrorism group. He could win a republican primary which would be great.

To get it off the ground and growing! It would be great for the democrats to see the right split in half.

Trump’s Approval Rating Stabilizes Among Republicans Ahead of Senate Impeachment Trial
79% of Republican voters approve of the outgoing president — up 3 points from last week

President Donald Trump’s approval rating among Republican voters is back on the uptick after it dropped earlier this month following the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by a group of Trump supporters

The Republicans have been insane since long before Trump. They've been denying global warming for at least twenty years.
