    There is nothing to refute. You're talking about the future.

    You should keep an open mind. A Biden admin might be better than you think. I'd bet that we don't end up with an attempted insurrection in 4 years.

    Is it no longer illegal to express the desire that Trump come to severe harm now that he's just a civilian criminal and not a president criminal?

    You still shouldn't. He's still in the Secret Service's charge, which means threats against him are still taken seriously. Same for any other ex-president.
