I think we all know it was down to the wire. Maybe America would have survived another month or two of trump, but certainly not a year more, much less four more years. Thank God the long national nightmare is over.

As I write this, for the first time in four years, our President is calling for calm.

trump's nuclear codes have to be turned off, which actually costs a bit of money, and takes time. For the first time in the nuclear age, the outgoing President has not handed the nuclear codes to the incoming President.

It does not seem theoretically possible that one major world political party could consecutively back to back nominate two of the worst presidents in American history - George Dumbya and Trump.

Good riddance to the morally repellent Trump and his trash wife.
