Not really, it's overwhelmingly Capitalist greed, to get cheap labor, or fill labor shortages.

British countries tend to be the most multicultural especially the USA.

Jews are White & it gets counted as hate crimes.

    You're A kook.

If you think these aren't hate filled.

    Whites aren't a singular organism.

Every country has awkward facts that destroy any simple narrative of their histor. Ireland's no.1 awkward fact is Ireland is only free because of the British military. This is not to say that the British military has always been good for Ireland. That would be another false narrative. Rather it is to focus specifically on the 1940s.

Ireland was a continuous democracy before, during and after WW2. We had elections throughout the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Our democracy never stopped. We never lost it.

How? Because Britain held the line almost alone against the Nazis until 1941, and then went on with America and other democratic allies to save Western European democracy from both Hitler and Stalin. Powers much bigger and stronger than us would have snuffed out our democracy in a heartbeat. Hitler and Stalin snuffed out democracy everywhere they went. But being positioned behind Britain meant we were saved.

Hitler would have ended our democracy:
Nazi-occupied Europe. The destruction of human freedom across almost the whole continent.
Operation Green. Hitler's plan for the Nazi invasion of Ireland.

    So, what!?

Britain was entrenched with Nazi Germany.

The British army didn't actually create Ireland.

BTW, Britain played a minor role against defeating Nazi Germany.

Most of it came down to Soviets.

A hate crime is an attempt to take away rights from a larger group by committing a crime against a portion of that group. That can be done against Poles, whites, or any other larger group.

Maybe you should go back and actually read the posts in context of the thread. I simply stated that Galileo is more important to humanity than Descartes is. I never suggested that they were from the same country or involved in the same disciplines.

Maybe learn to follow a conversation? I mean, it's not the end of the world, as I was just talking to the Pole Troll, but, it's good practice for more serious conversations.

Go fuck yourself. You need to learn what a non sequitur is, and then you need to learn not to change topics when called out.

    Irish have Yeats.

    Poles have Adam Mickiewicz.

    Russians have Pushkin.

    Welsh have Dylan Thomas.

    French have Victor Hugo.

    Italians have Dante.

    Among various others.

I'm not so certain Irish are the best poets.
Stuff Dillon bloody Thomas, who couldn't even pronounce his own name. Dafydd ap Gwilym is our great poet.
