Default Saying the quiet part out loud...

"They don't have to change all of them [Voter laws], but they've got to change the major parts of them so that we at least have a shot at winning."

    No.

Your ideas and policies are what gives you a shot at winning...and if you can't win on those ideas and policies, then it's time to get new ones.

Also, the elections in GA went exactly the way the Republican Party, that controls the State Legislature, SoS, and Governorship, all wanted.

It is funny that Republicans assume they cannot win with their ideas and principles, and are down to trying to win by making voting more of a hassle.

They haven't legitimately won the popular vote for President since 1988.

The idea and principle that he's not Donald Trump

That alone won him the election.
Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Which is what explains why we ended up with #TRE45ON. "At least he's not Hillary."

In short, the US didn't learn anything from the past 4 years.

From "it's not Hillary" to "it's not Trump"... not good enough.

Well, they did win it in 2004. But that's still a terrible record.

Yeeeeeeahhhh...I don't know if I buy that win as legitimate either. Too many weird questions around Florida and Ohio. Like 2000, the 2004 election should also have an asterisk.

Yep, we sure as hell can do better. One problem is, of course, is the polarization. No matter what great candidates either party comes up with, the other side is going to tear them to shreds. The Reichwing uses lies and crazy shit; the LW uses scorn and public opinion. So then all we end up with is marginal POS things like #TRE45ON or the competent but unlikeable Clinton.
