Default Mike Lindell My Pillow business going under because of crazy election fraud belief

Mike Lindell, the CEO of My Pillow, has said that several companies have stopped selling his products following his continued pushing of baseless allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Lindell, an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump, has repeatedly and falsely claimed that Trump did not lose the election and will stay in office for a second term.
His continued push of these false narratives, even after the deadly assault on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, prompted calls on social media for retailers to stop carrying MyPillow products.

In interviews this week, Lindell said Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl's, H-E-B and Wayfair are all dropping MyPillow. "They're trying to cancel me out," Lindell told the Right Side Broadcasting Network's Brian Glenn in a lengthy interview on Monday.

"I just got off the phone with Bed Bath & Beyond. They're dropping MyPillow. Just got off the phone not five minutes ago. Kohl's, all these different places," he said.
"These guys don't understand... they're scared, like a Bed Bath & Beyond, they're scared. They were good partners. In fact, I told them, 'You guys come back anytime you want.'"

Lindell later confirmed to Fox 9 that Wayfair and H-E-B have also severed ties with MyPillow.

He said the companies were acting in response to social media campaigns he claimed were being perpetrated by "leftist groups."
Lindell, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl's, Wayfair and H-E-B have been contacted for comment.
Campaign group Sleeping Giants posted a tweet on Friday, asking Walmart, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and Lowe's if they would continue to carry MyPillow products after the company's CEO "called for the insurrection."

The tweet included a video of Lindell, reportedly filmed after Trump loyalists stormed the Capitol on January 6 following Trump exhorting them to "fight like hell" to overturn the election result.
"This is the only time we have in history to beat these guys, to suppress the evil, and beat the evil," Lindell says in the clip. "This is a fight for everything we've grown up with, everything we live for, everything this country stands for. The whole world is watching, and 100%, Donald Trump is going to be your president for the next four years."

In his interview with Glenn, Lindell claimed Sleeping Giants were "the most evil people on the planet" for targeting his vendors.

Meanwhile, Dominion Voting Systems has informed Lindell of its intent to sue him over his false claims that the company's machines allowed widespread fraud in the November election.
"Despite knowing your implausible attacks against Dominion have no basis in reality, you have participated in the vast and concerted misinformation campaign to slander Dominion
," the letter from the company's legal representatives said.

Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

I read reviews of his pillows, overpriced and poor quality.

He tried to cancel the election and now he’s crying about the consequences of his actions isn’t it ironic.

The son-of-a-bitch ran one of the most poorest paying sweatshops in AMERICAN HISTORY.

And then tried to rip the public off selling his over-priced pillows that are sub-standard to anything on the Walmart Shelf for pennies on the dollar.

    Good riddance!

Yes, he's being canceled but not by a conspiracy of others but for his own conspiracy theory nonsense. Irrational people are not reliable business partners.

Maybe Dominion will soon be owning a pillow business and selling them for just above cost. LOL

Many of the lying RW sources have folded under Dominion’s lawsuits. We’ll see if he is one.

Yep, NewsMax had to recant. So did FoxNews and OAN. But the radicalized right wing extremists on this forum still believe it regardless.
They are truly OWNED by the Right Wing Media propaganda.

Like Trump, Lindell was 10% product and 90% bullshit. I hope he ends up broke and audited by the IRS.

Yep, Lindell and Trump are more proof that being a billionaire doesn't necessarily make one smart.

Agreed. Same goes for a former NY Mayor and, probably, soon to be an ex-lawyer. Words have meaning and Rudy said some very, very bad words. Words so bad he might spend some time under house arrest, if not actual prison.

During his speech, Giuliani reiterated baseless claims that widespread election fraud affected the outcome of the presidential election. He also said Trump supporters should fight the results.

"Over the next 10 days, we get to see the machines that are crooked, the ballots that are fraudulent. If we're wrong, we will be made fools of, but if we're right a lot of them will go to jail," said Giuliani. "Let's have trial by combat."

I'll never understand how Rudi went postal. He used to be so respected but somewhere along the line, he lost it and stopped being coherent. The sweaty hair dye presentation at Four Seasons Landscaping was the final nail in his legal coffin. He got laughed out of court by all the judges. How humiliating.

I'm sure the reasons will eventually come out. If not from Rudy, then by staffers. Yes, it's an odd transition from America's Mayor to America's Worst Lawyer.

The most obvious reason is greed. Avarice. Trump dangled millions of dollars in front of Rudy like a rowdy work crew dangles dollar bills in front of Friday Night Strippers. Rudy chose to dance. His legal bills will be significant, so it will be interesting to see if he actually got any money.

Another reason is he went nuts. Like several of the others involved in the Capitola insurrection, he may plead some form of insanity defense.

The good news is that the vast majority of Americans can step outside, walk around in complete safety and know their country is at peace.

Not his horrible representation in the faux suits over the elections, but his seditious words, well, whatever it takes to help him retire.
